Easter Sunday
We call ourselves Easter people.
We say He is Risen.
We love the pomp and circumstance of the Easter service.
For a while, a few hours, we truly immerse ourselves in the promise of the resurrection.
But what happens when we wake up on Monday morning? Do we still feel hope?
Easter Vigil
If you study human history, you’ll discover that there are periods of time when advancements in technology or philosophy cause rapid changes to human culture.
If history meanders like a watercourse across the map of time, these are the waterfalls. Points in time where innovations converge like multiple rivers and rush us to a new level of understanding or technology.
Palm Sunday
Jesus embodies God’s love and compassion. Through his ministry, he reminds us that God is both a God of love and justice.
Fourth Sunday in Lent
Our sermon today is from The Rt. Rev. John T.W. Harmon, the 14th Bishop of the Episcopal Church in Arkansas. His theme today is faith over fear.
Third Sunday in Lent
Jesus gives us a lens through which to examine our world, the Bible, and especially our own actions. When we need help interpreting what to do next, we can look at our choices through the lens of Jesus’s commandment – how do we love one another as God has loved us?
Camp Mitchell
Our guest homily today is from Camp Mitchell’s Executive Director Rebecca Roetzel.
