Neighbors Table is hosted by All Saints’ Episcopal Church at 501 S Phoenix Ave in Russellville, Arkansas and offers a free lunch every Saturday to all those in our community who are struggling to provide a nutritious hot meal for themselves and their families. The ministry is in partnership with Central Presbyterian Church, New Prospect Baptist Church, First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and other groups in our community. From March, 2012, until March, 2020, guests were invited into the All Saints’ Parish Hall for fellowship and a sit-down meal; pandemic precautions required a transition to drive through and delivery service but Neighbors Table continues to serve over 150+ meals each week and provide for all who come to us for food or fellowship. We now open our drive through on Saturdays from 11am to 12:30 pm.
To work with Neighbors Table on a cooking/serving/clean up, or distribution/delivery team just text or call Catherine at 479-264-4346 or Charlie at 479-857-0480. The tasks are easy and you’ll have lots of help.
Please remember Neighbors Table in your prayers. We give thanks for the abundant support provided for this ministry by All Saints’ Parish, our three partner churches, the Episcopal Diocese of Arkansas, the Central Arkansas Foodbank and our community.
Loaves and Fishes
Loaves and Fishes Ministry
Loaves and Fishes is a part of the Neighbors Table food ministry. Many of our Neighbors Table friends are food, shelter, and financially insecure. The Covid pandemic has amplified their difficulties. Our friends are often unemployed, living on fixed incomes, are ill, or are caregivers
for children or family members. The Loaves and Fishes ministry focuses on providing items to help our friends along during the week. For some of the friends these items are expensive, and choices are made to purchase necessities or do without them. Over a three week period we
provide different items. In Week 1, cleaning items such as dish detergent and laundry detergent are provided. In Week 2, we provide food items such as cereal, shelf stable milk, fresh eggs, hamburger meat, and snack items. In Week 3, we provide hygienic items such as shampoo, bath
soap, toothbrushes, tooth paste, disposable adult underwear, and hand sanitizer. Neighbors Table asks that you place your gifts to Loaves and Fishes in the red wagon in the narthex. You can also support Neighbors Table with a donation to Food Ministries in the Giving tab at the All
