Thanksgiving Baskets
The members of the Wednesday morning Bible Study group would like to inform the parish that the response to our call for food basket items was overwhelming this year. Instead of 10 baskets, we were able to fill 12 and provide each basket with a $20 gift card. Thanks to all you anonymous donors, and special thanks to Cindy Eisemann’s yoga class for contributing along with us. Many blessings were passed on through Help Network our distributor. We appreciate your support, Ellen Parton and Fran Ferris, coordinators.

The Tradition of the Jesse Tree
Jesse trees are a very old Christmas tradition and first started in medieval times. They are used to help tell the story of the Bible from creation to the Christmas story. The name comes from Jesse who was the Father of the great Jewish King David. A branch is a sign of new life and new beginnings. Jesus was a descendent of King David and Christians believe that Jesus is this new branch. Please take a moment to view our Jesse Tree, decorated by our children, in the narthex.
