Confirmation Sunday is May 28th. The Bishop will be here! Pot luck reception after the service.

Help sponsor a child for 2017 Camp Mitchell Church Camp

Do you have a child that would like to attend church camp at Camp Mitchell? All Saints’ families currently have seven children who have expressed a desire to attend.
Or, perhaps you would like to help sponsor a child making it possible for them to attend with either a full or 50/50 camp scholarship. Without some form of sponsorship, many of these children simply cannot afford to attend.  If you can, please help sponsor a child.
Church Camp 2017 is upon us!  Applications and sponsor fund pledges need to be received in the church office no later than the end of day June 4th for children to be able to attend the session appropriate for their age in 2017.

Please contact the church office prior to June 4th if you would like for your child to attend or if you would like to sponsor a child.

Greeters Needed
I would like to meet with people interested in the greeter’s ministry. Being a greater is a vital ministry welcoming people to All Saints’. Did you know that 85% of people greeted by a lay person return to the church? This would be a once or twice a month commitment. We need greeters for the 8 o’clock service, and for the 10:30 service. Please contact Kimby at the church for my contact information at 479-968-3622 and I will return your email or phone call.
Thank you,
Ricki Duffee
Noah Smith Recital, May 27, 2017
Noah Smith, age 15, will perform the very first recital on the newly restored Chickering grand piano in the nave of All Saints Episcopal Church, 501 S. Phoenix Ave, Russellville, AR  on Saturday, May 27th, 2017 at 7:30 pm.  The program will include works by J.S. Bach, Brahms, Beethoven, Gershwin, Muczynski and Saint-Saens.  He will be accompanied by his father, Dr. Timothy Smith, Professor of Music at Arkansas Tech University.

Central Pres. Blessing Box!
Central Pres has placed a Blessing Box outside the Denver street entrance.  We have learned in the last couple of months that there is a high demand for basic food and clothing in our area.  We would like to invite your congregations to be a part of this ministry.  We check it each morning to make sure it is stocked.  We look to provide foods that keep well and are ready to eat.  We also stock it with clothing and diapers and basic hygiene items. Please donate by dropping off your donations at Central Pres.
Graduation party!  We’re honoring all graduates this week!  Please join us for lunch and fun!  Tracy and Eva Cole and Brenda Stanley are our organizers so if you want to help or have questions, contact one of them.
Please remember Neighbors Table in your prayers.
To serve on a Saturday morning, call or text Catherine, 264-4346, or sign up on the white boards.  If you would like to serve in other ways, or have questions, call or text Catherine.
Team leaders and members for May 20:  Carol Lee, Central Presbyterian.
Team leaders and members for May 27:  Jeff Aulgur, Diane and Bob Eshelman, Phyllis, Tracy and Eva Cole.  Eva is making dessert.
